Driven by a desire to learn, create, and explore, Alonzo Jones has embarked on a new journey—helping others, and himself, better understand the complex world around them through research, literature, and carefully crafted videography. 

A Nerd’s Diary became the first destination on Alonzo’s newly formed path. The idea for the blog emerged from the bittersweet reality that his podcast, Beyond the Banter—a passion project co-created with two friends—was coming to an end. As high school concluded, each of the podcast’s founding members prepared to branch out into the real world, bringing that chapter to a close. 

Knowing he wanted to continue his work as a growing socialite who finds beauty in human interaction and intellectually stimulating conversation, Alonzo created A Nerd’s Diary—an ongoing exploration of the ideas, habits, and perspectives that shape how we move through the world. 

This blog serves as a medium for the millions of thoughts that cross not only Alonzo’s mind, but yours as well. Through it, he works to build a community of Nerds who appreciate subtle references, meaningful connections, and the growth of ideas—shared thoughtfully, and with intention.
